The Designer (Microsoft Technology) role is an individual contributor role as a Technology Specialist. This role supports pre-sales and delivery of software solutions projects with competency in Application Development and Software Integrations.

This role performs sub-system analysis, design, implementation, testing & deployment tasks based on Microsoft technology (Windows, VB, VC++/MFC, C#, .Net) and OOAD methodology (pattern, framework, UML, Unified Process). This role is qualified to lead small/medium-size technical team.

1. During project delivery, support Project Manager/Lead Architect and perform requirements, analysis, architecture, design, development, testing & deployment tasks. Own sub-system implementation, work estimate, quality assurance as a team lead and individual contributor. Lead a small/medium-size technical team & perform partial project management tasks.
2. During pre-sales, assist Project Manager & Lead Architect to qualify, structure and close solution deals; develop technical solutions in the form of proposals, presentations and Statement of Work.
3. Participate in internal development of reference architectures and solutions.

Qualifications and Experience
1. 5-7 years of software consulting experience in e-business Solution development and integration, with 1-3 years in a senior designer/lead developer role.
2. Development experience with Microsoft technology (Windows, VB, VC++/MFC, C#/.Net). IDE & CASE tools experience required include .Net, Visio & Rational Rose. Experience with Web Services (SOAP/UDDI/WSDL) a major plus.
3. Integration experience with Microsoft IIS, Share Point Portal Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Live Communication Server, Project Server, SQL Server, BizTalk, MSMQ & MTS.
4. System-level development experience with Windows system API & open standard/source technology, such as Networking (e.g. TCP/IP), Device drivers, UpnP, Device remote control (e.g. WMI), Remote display (e.g. NX and VNC), Security (Digital Rights Mgt)
5. Data modeling experience based on ER analysis & design. Logical/physical DB design/implementation/tuning experience preferred. Windows SA/DBA (SQL Server) experience preferred. 6. Architecture & OOAD experience in UP, XP using UML, Design Pattern and open source frameworks.
7. Testing and production experience using testing, optimization, deployment & tools
8. Mobility and willingness to travel 50% of time.
9. BS degree in CS, EE or equivalent. Master preferred. 10. Language skills in English
